David Michaelson PA-C:
David became a physician’s assistant coming out of the military. He was accustomed to being part of a team and really felt that the PA-physician dynamic suited his team-based mentality. David’s specialty is Emergency medicine and has worked with CFH in the ER since 2020. David chose CFH and our community to work as he was looking for a rural critical access hospital and CFH fit that description. David stated his favorite part of working at CFH ” is the location. I’ve worked at other Critical Access hospitals, but the NW Adirondacks are so much prettier than any of the other locations I’ve worked. Even now, years after starting here, I still think how lucky I am to work where I do.” David also went on to say that his favorite part of caring for patients is that “I love being the safety net for the community. When a patient doesn’t have any other options, they come to us. Day or night, rain or shine, we’re there to take care of them.”
